1. What is your name and where are you from ?
My name is James Keen and I am from The Golden Land Country “Myanmar” .
2. For you , What does it mean to be from Myanmar ?
• Well , as for me , if I have to say what does it means to be from Myanmar ,
I would like to say that I am very proud of being a Myanmar Citizen .
• And I’m so excited concerning with my country because current moment is the right time to change for everyone .
3. How have you seen your country change in your life time ?
• In my personal point of view , our country is changed in my lifetime gradually . A lot of things are developed as day goes by .
• Comparing with the past , it is totally different right now .
• Since the government have given democracy , a lot of countries agreed to invest in our country .
• So that , different aspects like education , economic , technology , job opportunity are improved unlike the past .
4. What are the struggles your country currently faces ?
• The struggle that our country currently faces is that waiting for the best moment to change .
• Still we have to think about what should we do our best to elect the very right government for our country .
• Still we have to be worried about who we want to vote can surely be elected definitely.
• In general , people have to be still puzzled about who will the next president for our country .
5. What are the best things about your country ?
• The best things about our country is that we , people , are innocent , kind and helpful to each other .
• We have a lot of natural resources comparing with other countries .
• Myanmar has begun the famous tourist attraction during these days .
• And also , Smile is the symbol of our country .
6. What are the false perceptions others often have of your country ?
• The false perceptions others often have of our country is that we still have a lot of crisis and our country situation is not good enough to keep abreast with developed countries yet . They still undermined us till now .
• And also , they might sometimes think that we don’t have a very smartest person .
• We do have a clever and intelligent people in Myanmar .
• The problem is that most of the people who are clever and knowledgeable enough to support our country’s development still want to work only for other counties and they just want to live in other countries .
• That’s why , brain draining process is happened and we have a problem concerning with the lack of effective human resources .
7. What do you want foreigners to know about your country ?
• At least I just want them to know about our famous shwe dagon pagoda and the famous people in Myanmar if they ever have to visualize what Myanmar is like .
8. Where do you see your country in ten years ?
• I see my country in an optimistic way for next 10 years .
• After ten years , it will be 2025 .
• A lot of things can be changed like economic , technology and education , etc in Myanmar like other countries .
• And I do hope that after this election , we can have a right person to change for our country .
• As well as I see the very vigorous potential growth for our country in next ten years .
Profession
1. What is your profession ?
• Currently my profession is a language teacher and I specialized in English language .
• And I mainly focus on teaching adult learners .
2. Do you love what you do ? What is the best part of your job ?
• Yes , I do love what I do especially if I could shape or educate someone’s way of thinking , attitude and learning styles through my mentoring process .
• At that time , I feel really delighted .
3. Do you ever aspire to have another profession ?
• Being a teacher is not just the only one stage for my ambition .
• I do have a another profession that is the advanced level of teacher .
• And that is becoming a trainer .
• If I am a teacher , I have to educate or train just only the students .
• And generally , it seems that this is the end of the role for that career .
• If I become a trainer , I can teach , educate and shape the individual and specific teacher who have to teach the students on the other side .
• So that , this is more effective .
• That’s why , I aspire to become a trainer of teacher in the future .
Religion
Are you a religious person ? If so , what religion are you ?
• I am not very extremist religious person . But I do believe in Buddhism .
What role does being a Buddhist play in your life ?
• First of all , I would like to say that believing in Buddhist doesn’t mean that I don’t valve or respect the other religion .
• Different people have different opinion and belief .
• So do I .
• I believe in Buddhism because this is not just a religion .
• It is a practice to follow for our life , moral , ethic , success and everything .
Family
1. What does family means to you ?
• My family is the only place I can called home .
• And the only members that I put fully trust in it .
2. What is your greatest family memory ?
• My greatest family memory is that the time we went to the very long trip which is 370 miles far away from where we are right now with the brunches of family members , relatives and friends .
• Together we went to the long trip journey , take photos , eat barbecue , have a night out with my family members .
• This is the unforgettable memory in my life .
3. Do you want kids ?
• If I ever get married , I would like to get a kid ( a daughter ) .
• My favorite students in general are mostly the young girl children .
• That’s why , I would like to have clever and obedient daughter on my own .
4. What will the most rewarding things about being a parent ?
• I am not a parent yet . I am still single .
• But I think nurturing children throughout my life is the most rewarding thing about being a parent .
• Being a parent is not an easy thing .
• It takes a lot of time to cultivate carefully and watch them grow .
• The attitude , the mind set and the life style of the children is sometimes influenced by their parents .
Life
1. What is Success ?
• Success is the climax moment of your life by doing what you love with no worries of money and getting desirable position in my life .
2. What is happiness ?
• Happiness is achieving what you want to achieve , getting what you want to get .
3. Do you remember the happiest moment of your life ?
• Yes , the happiest moment of my life is that completing to create my own curriculum to teach for my career .
4. What is your greatest fear ?
• My greatest fear is worrying about losing someone I love the most currently .
5 . What is your greatest regret ?
• My greatest regret is being extremist based on my ego .
• I feel regretful for not caring someone I love appropriately in the past .
• As a consequence of that bad habit , my girlfriend got someone who takes care of her so much .
• And I lose her .
6 .What has been your proudest achievement ?
• My proudest achievement are being able to manage my class on my own ,
being a teacher with own curriculum , and getting a job what I love .
7.What is your greatest life goal ?
• My greatest life goal is being able to manage my own language school one day .
• I am The C.E.O or Managing director of my school .
• And with my own effective teaching method , my language school will be famous all over the world .
• Being a trainer of trainee who can train teacher .
• This must be my life goal .

• I love my job , teaching , writing articles , sense of humor , creativity and critical thinking .
9. Who is your hero ?
• My hero is the people who can reflect my future personal image .
• So that if I feel depressed , I can console my heart that one day I will become like them .
